These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the RARELANE website, rarelane.in, and your purchase of products from us.

By using our website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Shipping Policy, Return, Refund & Exchange Policy, and Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or place an order.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on RARELANE.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old.
The information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are authorised to use the payment method provided.
You are placing the order for a lawful purpose.

2. Products and Product Information

RARELANE currently offers sneakers and related products through rarelane.in.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, sizes, colours, and other product information displayed on the website are accurate.

Product images are provided for reference, and minor differences in colour, appearance, texture, or finish may occur due to photography, lighting, screen settings, or product/batch variations.

Customers should carefully review the product description, size information, photographs, specifications, and other available information before placing an order.

If a particular product detail is important to you and is not clear from the product page, we recommend contacting us through our Contact Page before placing the order.

3. Pricing

All prices displayed on RARELANE are in Indian Rupees (₹).

Applicable taxes and compulsory charges will be displayed during the ordering process, where applicable.

Prices may change from time to time.

The applicable product price and charges shown at checkout at the time the order is placed will apply to that order, subject to the order acceptance provisions below.

4. Payment Methods

RARELANE may offer payment methods including:

UPI
Credit and debit cards
Net banking
Wallets
Cash on Delivery, where available

Payment methods and applicable charges available to you will be displayed during checkout.

For prepaid orders, the applicable order amount is paid at checkout.

For Cash on Delivery orders, ₹199 from the total order amount is payable upfront as the COD shipping charge, and the remaining balance is payable to the courier at the time of delivery.

5. COD Shipping Charge

For Cash on Delivery orders, ₹199 from the total order amount must be paid upfront as the COD shipping charge.

The ₹199 is not an additional charge added to the product price or order total. It is a portion of the total order amount that is collected before dispatch.

Example

If your order total is ₹2,999:

₹199 is paid upfront as the COD shipping charge.
₹2,800 is paid to the courier at delivery.
Total paid = ₹2,999.

The ₹199 upfront payment must be received before the order can be dispatched.

6. COD Order Confirmation

For Cash on Delivery orders, RARELANE may contact you by phone or WhatsApp to confirm your order details before dispatch.

The ₹199 COD shipping amount must be paid within 48 hours of placing the order.

If the required ₹199 payment is not received within 48 hours, RARELANE may cancel the order and the order will not be shipped.

7. Cancellation of COD Orders

If a customer requests cancellation before the order has been shipped, the order may be cancelled and the ₹199 amount paid upfront may be refunded.

Once the order has been handed over to the courier, the order cannot be cancelled through the normal cancellation process.

If, after dispatch, the customer:

Refuses delivery;
Is unavailable to receive the parcel;
Is travelling or otherwise unable to accept delivery;
Provides an incorrect or incomplete address;
Fails to collect the parcel; or
Otherwise causes the parcel to be returned to RARELANE,

the ₹199 COD shipping amount paid upfront will not be refunded.

Customers are responsible for being available to receive their order once it has been shipped.

8. Order Acceptance and Availability

Placing an order on our website constitutes a request to purchase the selected product.

RARELANE may verify and confirm orders before dispatch.

We reserve the right to cancel or decline an order where reasonably necessary, including circumstances such as:

Product availability issues;
Incorrect or obvious pricing errors;
Incomplete or inaccurate customer information;
Failed payment or required COD payment;
Suspected fraudulent or abusive activity;
Delivery restrictions;
Repeated COD refusal or other misuse of the ordering system; or
Circumstances where the order cannot reasonably be fulfilled.

An order confirmation or acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been dispatched or finally accepted.

Where an order cannot be fulfilled because a product becomes unavailable, RARELANE may contact the customer and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a refund where payment has already been received.

9. Order Verification

For certain orders, particularly Cash on Delivery orders, RARELANE may contact the customer by phone, WhatsApp, SMS, or other available communication methods to verify the order.

This verification may be required before the order is shipped.

If the customer cannot be reached or does not complete the required payment/confirmation process within the applicable period, the order may be cancelled.

10. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are shipped through third-party courier and logistics partners.

Estimated delivery times are:

Metro cities: approximately 2–3 business days
Other cities and towns: approximately 3–5 business days
North-East, Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar, and certain remote PIN codes: approximately 7–10 business days

These are estimated transit times and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Delivery may take longer due to circumstances including weather conditions, natural events, public holidays, transportation disruptions, courier issues, high shipment volumes, remote-area restrictions, incorrect address information, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Returns and Exchanges

RARELANE provides a 3-day return and exchange facility, subject to the conditions contained in our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.

Customers must initiate an eligible return or exchange request within the applicable 3-day period.

All return and exchange requests must follow the procedure described in the Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.

12. Mandatory Unboxing Video

A complete, continuous, and unedited unboxing video is compulsory for return, exchange, wrong-product, and damaged-product claims.

The video should begin before the parcel is opened and clearly show:

The parcel as received;
The shipping label;
The outer packaging;
The sealed package;
The complete opening process;
The product received; and
The accessories, tags, packaging, and other contents supplied with the order.

If the required unboxing video is not provided, is incomplete, edited, unclear, or does not adequately establish the condition and contents of the parcel when received, RARELANE may reject the applicable claim.

13. Return & Exchange Initiation Charge

A ₹300 return/exchange initiation charge is payable upfront when submitting a return or exchange request through the dedicated Return & Exchange Page.

If the request is rejected during the initial video-verification stage, the ₹300 initiation amount will be refunded to the customer's provided UPI details.

If the request passes initial verification and the return/exchange process is approved and initiated, the ₹300 initiation charge is non-refundable.

The ₹300 initiation charge is a separate upfront charge and is not deducted again from any product refund.

14. Return Pickup and Inspection

For an approved return or exchange, RARELANE will arrange a return pickup through Delhivery.

The customer must properly pack the product and return it with all applicable accessories, tags, packaging, and other items supplied with the order.

Once the returned parcel reaches RARELANE, the product will be inspected.

The inspection may include checking:

Product condition;
Signs of use;
Damage;
Missing accessories or components;
Packaging and tags;
Product identity;
Whether the returned product corresponds to the product originally supplied; and
Other relevant conditions applicable to the return or exchange.

15. Rejection After Inspection

A return or exchange may be rejected following inspection where the returned product does not satisfy the applicable return/exchange conditions.

This may include circumstances where:

The product has been used or materially altered;
The product has been damaged after delivery;
Accessories or components are missing;
The product is materially different from the condition in which it was supplied;
The product has been substituted or tampered with; or
Other applicable return/exchange requirements have not been satisfied.

Where a return or exchange is rejected following physical inspection, RARELANE may ship the product back to the customer.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict rights available to consumers under applicable law.

16. Exchange

If the customer chooses an exchange and the returned product successfully passes inspection, RARELANE will initiate the exchange within 1–2 days after completion of the inspection.

There is no additional exchange charge for an approved exchange.

Exchange availability depends on stock.

If the requested replacement size or product is unavailable, RARELANE may offer an alternative where available or a refund subject to the applicable refund terms.

Each order is eligible for one exchange only.

Once an exchange has been completed, the exchanged product cannot be submitted for another exchange through the same return/exchange process.

17. Refunds

If the customer chooses a refund and the returned product successfully passes inspection, RARELANE will initiate the refund within 2–3 days after completion of the inspection.

Refunds will be processed to the UPI details provided by the customer.

RARELANE may request or confirm the customer's UPI details before processing the refund.

For ordinary customer-requested returns, the applicable original shipping cost incurred by RARELANE for delivering the parcel to the customer may be deducted from the product refund, as described in the Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.

The ₹300 return/exchange initiation charge is a separate upfront payment and is not deducted again from the product refund.

18. Wrong or Damaged Product

If you receive a wrong or damaged product, you must report it within 48 hours of delivery.

A complete unboxing video is compulsory.

Where the issue is verified and attributable to RARELANE, we will take responsibility for resolving the issue through an appropriate replacement or refund, subject to verification and applicable law.

Customers should not use, alter, repair, dispose of, or otherwise modify the product before the claim has been reviewed.

19. Product Condition and Customer Responsibility

Customers must return products in the condition required under the Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.

All applicable accessories, tags, packaging, and other items supplied with the order must be returned where required.

Customers are responsible for securely packing the product for an approved return pickup.

20. Fraud Prevention and Misuse

RARELANE takes fraudulent and abusive activity seriously.

Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:

Placing fraudulent orders;
Using stolen or unauthorised payment information;
Repeatedly placing COD orders and refusing or failing to accept deliveries;
Providing false information;
Submitting false or misleading return/exchange claims;
Attempting product substitution;
Tampering with products or evidence;
Abusing the return or exchange system; or
Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems or customer information.

Where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity, we may cancel orders, restrict access to our services, investigate the activity, and take appropriate action permitted by law.

21. Prohibited Use

You may not use rarelane.in:

For any unlawful purpose;
To violate these Terms & Conditions;
To attempt unauthorised access to our systems, servers, accounts, or customer information;
To interfere with the operation or security of the website;
To place fraudulent orders;
To use stolen or unauthorised payment information;
To abuse the COD, return, exchange, or refund process;
To scrape, reproduce, copy, or commercially exploit website content without permission; or
For any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.

22. Intellectual Property

All content on rarelane.in, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, website design, product descriptions, and other materials, is owned by RARELANE or used with appropriate permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, copy, publish, or commercially exploit our website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

Third-party trademarks, brand names, logos, or other intellectual property appearing on the website belong to their respective owners.

Their appearance on the website does not by itself imply ownership, endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation by RARELANE unless expressly stated.

23. Website Availability and Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website operational and information accurate.

However, we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, completely error-free, or free from technical issues.

Website functionality may occasionally be affected by maintenance, hosting problems, technical failures, internet disruptions, security incidents, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RARELANE will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, RARELANE's liability relating to a particular product will not exceed the amount paid for that product.

RARELANE is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including natural events, severe weather, transportation disruptions, courier issues, government restrictions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.

25. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable Indian law and the jurisdictional requirements applicable to the matter.

Where legally permissible, courts in Surat, Gujarat, India shall have jurisdiction.

Before pursuing formal proceedings, customers are encouraged to contact RARELANE through our Contact Page so that we can attempt to resolve the matter.

26. Grievance and Customer Support

For questions, complaints, order issues, return/exchange requests, refund issues, or other concerns, customers may contact RARELANE through our Contact Page.

We encourage customers to contact us first so that we can review and attempt to resolve the issue.

27. Changes to These Terms

RARELANE may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our website, products, services, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the current version came into effect.

Where appropriate, material changes may be communicated through the website or other suitable channels.

Continued use of the website after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
